Po'ipu Beach, Kaua'i. 1983.
Before Hurricanes' 'lwa and Iniki, Po'ipu was a dream to most travelers. This couple just emerged from the San Francisco flight and darted to the shore. This area, now, is over-populated, over-developed and devoid of its previous charm. Hawai'i has set aside this beach as a habitat for the Hawaiian Monk seals who call Po'ipu their home. No. 010
