If one is limited to a 24 hour sojourn to the island of Hawai'i, Waipi'o is the only spot to visit. 50 generations of Hawa'ians have lived and died here, and was the hiding place for an infant King Kamehameha, avoiding a death sentence from the reigning king. We came upon a wild horse who had recently given birth. After several attempts to balance itself, this young offspring, succeeded in her efforts and began feeding from her mother. No. 008
